oh lordy.
Topless Robot – The Avengers Movie Is Brought to You by the Letter A.
This movie simply cannot come out soon enough for me.
These are absolutely gorgeous figurines, I haven’t played the Arkham game yet, it’s on my list of games to play though. I’ve been too busy with fixing shit in my house and playing HALO and being a drunk.

Marvelous News is reporting that an “unconfirmed insider source” says that “Nathan Fillion is pretty much locked to be Henry Pym and should be announced before any other new additions to the cast”
If this is true….good god. I don’t even know what I would give. holy crap this would be awesome news.

The network was thinking about wrapping up the show next season with a possible two or four-hour movie, but decided against it due to the high cost and low ratings.
This series has such potential, but it never had an overall evil that the people were fighting. It would have been good to have Syler been the main baddie, but I think he flipped from good to bad no less then 3 or 4 times, and that really killed it for me, and that last season with the circus? Complete shit. The actors will go onto better things though, as I feel they’re all much better than the source material.
“The parodies under this new imprint will pay tribute to the world's most popular comic heroes,” said Steven Hirsch, Founder/Co-chairman of Vivid. “[Lead Director] Axel [Braun] already started pre-production on a parody of Superman, which will be followed by those of The Green Hornet, Spider-Man, Wonder Woman, Captain America, Thor, and The Incredible Hulk. We made the decision to create the imprint after working with Axel on “Batman XXX: A Porn Parody”, an Axel Braun Productions movie to be distributed by Vivid. Axel truly did an amazing job with it, and we agreed that together we could mine the really rich treasure of superheroes and have a lot of fun doing it.”
This is damned awesome. I wonder if they’ll be like the Marvel movies that are planned, in that they’ll be interconnected.

wtf is up with all these high quality porn parodies lately? I’m going to go broke buying all these.
Hah, “buying”.
Porn parody of 1960s Batman show – Boing Boing.
the cartoon will star Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Superboy, Miss Martian and Artemis as shown above.
I absolutely loved the Young Justice comic series, but I somehow doubt this show will have the humor and wit that Peter David brought to the books. I’ll give it a chance though!

Sometimes it’s a funny or ironic aspect of the character I want to highlight like Wonder Woman or Emma Frost. Sometimes it’s an intense moment in their continuity I want to underscore (whether it happened on-panel or not) like The New Mutants. And, sometimes, I just want to make them look really cool.
I remember this storyline from the 80′s and it was awesome, but frequently overlooked. Yes, that’s magneto taking over the x-masion. via Super Modern Art Heroes: Interview with Josh Siegel.
Deadline New York says that Marvel Studios is moving ahead with Joss Whedon as director of The Avengers. First rumored to be on the short list by IESB, Whedon is now reportedly in final negotiations to helm the action adventure scheduled for a May 4, 2012 release.
HOLY FUCKING SHIT, I JUST MIGHT DRINK AGAIN TONIGHT TO CELEBRATE THIS, HOLY FUCK, MY CAP LOCKS LOCKED, AAAGGGGGH
I love this one, some time ago when i posted mi tri-sentinel, someone asked me to do a cosmic spiderman, then i bought some moon knight casted heads, i decided to make one, i love this recipe too, is perfect for characters like this, and like silver surfer or black costume spidy,
I was reading spider-man when ‘cosmic spider-man’ came around and was fighting the tri-sentinel. god damn, this is a beautiful figure, they should make an official one!
News is breaking that Marvel will be canceling the recently re-launched Punisher Max series by writer Jason Aaron and artist Steve Dillon at the end of the Bullseye arc – which should be issue #10 in August 2010.
Yeah disney, that’s great. Maybe the punisher should replace his guns with pom poms and have an adorable animal sidekick that helps him solve mysteries and shit.

Back in March (2009) Marvel announced the biggest comic book movie crossover in history. A part of that announcement included the news that on July 22, 2011 they would release The First Avenger: Captain America.
With a looming Captain America feature film and an already existing legion of Captain America comic fans, there’s no question in our minds that this Limited Edition replica Captain America shield from Sideshow Collectibles is going to sell out fast.
So by the time ‘The Avengers’ comes in 2012, it’s not just a team superhero movie with a bunch of characters with powers. It’s three people – four including the Hulk; five including Nick Fury – who you’ve seen before in other movies, coming together for the very first time.
This makes me a very very happy comic book fan right now. They’re going to have most of the original Avengers here. Wonder who the big bad will end up being? IIRC, Loki was the one that brought them all together in Avengers #1
AMC has given greenlights to two drama pilots, “The Walking Dead” and “The Killing.”
“Walking Dead” is based on the comicbook series about survivors of a zombie apocalypse by Robert Kirkman. Frank Darabont penned the adaptation and is onboard to direct. Gale Anne Hurd of Valhalla Motion Pictures and David Alpert of Circle of Confusion will exec produce with Darabont and Kirkman.

This is very good news, I’ve enjoyed the few books of this series that I’ve run into, and I’m always up for some zombie survival televisions series. Has there been a tv show that’s focused on surviving a zombie apocalypse?
