Such a great idea, but they’re asking for $35 a month for 2d only viewing and no ability to upgrade to IMAX films. I think I can count how many 2d non-imax films I’ve seen in the last two years on a single hand. Since those comparable tickets would be $7 each (remember, 2d only, no imax), I’d have to see 5 movies a month to make it worth my investment. My suggestion to moviepass: drop the price about 10-15%, then give me the ability to upgrade to IMAX. Perfect world would be $35 with IMAX and 3d included, but those movies are going for a premium now, costing something like $15 a pop.
