According to the police report, on Jan. 26, Oller Jr. had been singing a Kenny Chesney country tune via karaoke when Oller Sr. left the home briefly, saying “I’m gonna shut you up.” He returned with a handgun and fired multiple times at his son, striking him in the arm. Oller Jr. was taken to the hospital, but at least one bullet remains in his shoulder. Oller Sr. was also treated for a gunshot wound and then taken to jail.

The Middle Finger Heard Around The World
Apparently, Middle fingers are obscene now? Is this all we have to be outraged about? I remember seeing the digital fuckup, but just attributed it to incompetence on the broadcaster, but apparently we can attribute it to moral outrage that someone moved their hand in a fashion that was obscene.
No one’s commenting on the fact that I stared at Madonna’s starred vagina for 20 minutes, and that she was spreading her legs like professional whore. I enjoyed it, and wish more women would do it, but seriously, all that and the country is having a shit fit over MIA’s middle finger? Thank god it wasn’t a boob or else the country may have exploded.

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary gets double disc soundtrack release
The package is $14.9 and gets you two CDs of music, originally created by Martin O’Donnell and Michael Salvatori and remade for 2011. There’s also a limited edition green vinyl record for $24.99, which has fewer tracks but gets you an MP3 album of the music to download as well.
Halo: CE was THE game that got me into game soundtracks, and now with the help of podcasts like Top Score, I’m finding more and more games with beautiful music. Amazon has it for $11.95 as of this posting, the new soundtrack is incredibly, noticably, and beautifully redone. It’s amazing what happens when you give a full orchestra the score to an older, mostly synth game.

San Francisco-based Pyramind Studios is producing a re-orchestrated soundtrack for Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary. 343 Industries, Microsoft, and Pyramind announced that the project is headed up by Microsoft Senior Audio Director Kristofor Mellroth, and Pyramind Studios COO/Audio Director Paul Lipson, and employs both the Skywalker Symphony Orchestra and San Francisco-based vocal group Chanticleer. Bryan Dale is handling the soundtrack
