
Universal Bringing EA’s Army of Two To the Big Screen « FirstShowing.net
Electronic Arts has partnered with Universal Pictures to produce an adaptation of the video game Army of Two. Screenwriter Scott Z. Burns (of The Bourne Ultimatum) has been hired to write the adaptation with Scott Stuber (of The Break-Up, The Kingdom, Role Models) producing. Universal is fast-tracking the project and hopes to start production in 2009.
I haven’t actually played this game, but several of my close friends have, and from what I understand the game sucks. Not as bad as the worse game you’ve ever played, but certainly not worthy of being made into a movie. I guess I should just be happy that Uwe Boll isn’t making this one.


I’ve seen movies of the gameplay. This game does look like crap and no doubt the movie will too.
I’ve had a few friends play it, and other than some stupid game mechanics, like having to press two buttons at the same time to open doors, it was an ok FPS from what I’ve been told.
