The International Space Station began its existence 10 years ago when the Zarya was launched on November 20, 1998 from Kazakhstan and followed within weeks by the module Unity.

Today the ISS has an interior of better than 25,000 cubic feet.

How the heck did I miss the anniversary of mankind’s greatest orbital achievements? I remember back when the station was in the planning stages and there were critics that said it would never amount to anything.  Well look now!  They have over 25k Cubic feet of space!  Imagine how much they could rent that for!
