Sentenced to Manilow?

barry manilow Sentenced to Manilow?

Turn that noise down!
A judge sentences some teen noise offenders to listen to Barry Manilow

So…some kids perform really bad music really really loud, 2 blocks from the local police station. When they go in front of the judge (presumably for breaking some noise ordinance), the judge sentences them to sit there and listen to hours of Manilow, Barney and other not-so-easy-listening. Their faces say it all.

  1. Awwww, who knew?
You know I Can’t Smile Without You,
    I Can’t Smile Without You,
    I can’t laugh
    and I can’t sing,
I’m findin’ it hard to do anything.
You see, I feel sad when you’re sad,
I feel glad when you’re glad,
If You only knew what I’m go ing through,
I just Can’t Smile Without You.

  2. You think? I thought it was an appropriate (and humorous) way to make a point about respect. I don’t know that the kids will get it right away, but I don’t think they’ll forget it as they get older.
