I honestly do not believe that i’ve ever seen an image of Helen Keller, the Library of Congress just posted one to their Flickr account though.

at first glance i thought she had been disemboweled… at second glance I thought she was eating white paint when it happened… At third glance I’m still not sure.
She doesn’t look any different than anyone else’s pictures at the time. I didn’t know that Library of Congress had a flickr account. Cool.
@sylvanish: I think the photographic paper has been damaged in the middle of the picture.
