Webcam border stake-out
“The Texas Border Sheriff’s Coalition has joined BlueServo in a public-private partnership to deploy the Virtual Community Watch,
an innovative real-time surveillance program designed to empower the public to proactively participate in fighting border crime. The TBSC BlueServo Virtual Community Watch is a network of cameras and sensors along the Texas-Mexico border that feeds live streaming video to www.BlueServo.net. Users will log in to the BlueServo website and directly monitor suspicious criminal activity along the border via this virtual fence.”
I wonder how much this cost to set up. I doubt it would be effective for more than a couple of months.
1st: The illegal immigrants always find a way around our measures.
2nd: Those w/ Orwellian concerns will sabotage it, by reporting non existent crimes/crossings.

or 3, it becomes a raging success because they award 50 bucks for every illegal alien you catch with the system!
I see myself making millions!
@tiki
I sit corrected. It would be funny to have all these people from WV, Fl and even other countries calling in sightings 24/7.
Or they go a step further and attach guns (even just airsoft ones) to the cameras and make it into a video game.
Of course the illegal immigrant will find a way around the measures. Who do you think built them?
