I’m gonna make a bold accusation here where I hopefully won’t feel the backlash of announcing this. The director of this movie, while credited as writing it, in fact did not write it, but bought it. Bought it from someone I know personally. I even proof read it in its earlier stages while he was still working on it. He told me that it’s not as uncommon as I might think, but that never really registered until now seeing it actually happen first hand.
I’m just saying this out of a mild spite I guess. I am hella excited to see it and honestly, if he hadn’t sold it as he did, it probably would never have gotten made. It looks like it; and I hope it really is as good a movie as I know the story is.
@tiki god: yah yah, i know it’s a common thing, I realize that, and admit I’m naive. But I’ve never been directly witness to it and seeing this just got me excited. shucks.

This looks pretty fucking awesome.
Indeed, it looks interesting, in a ‘fuck your mind’ kind of way
@sylvanish:
Are you saying that you know a real world example of Ghost Writing?
You didn’t think that William Shatner REALLY wrote all those Tekwar and Star Trek books, did you?
