Marvel has just announced that popular writer Warren Ellis will be writing a series of four anime series for Japanese Animax channel in the spring of 2010. Produced my popular studio Madhouse (Ninja Scroll, Vampire Hunter D, Trigun), two of the shows will star Wolverine and Iron Man respectively, with the other two shows to be revealed later.

After seeing his work on G.I. Joe : Resolute, I’m somewhat excited to see his stories with Wolverine and Iron Man.  Moreso Wolverine, because Ellis = blood, and Wolverine is best when bloody.
