Terrence Mallick is GOD. The most beautiful cinematography you will ever see. Definitely not a film for everyone though. Very art house and full of deep meaning. Great film about America, how the past transcends to the present.

My favorite Stanley Kubrick film. You might notice I love period films. This is one of the best. Kubrick filmed this whole film using the candle light. Every frame is beautifully lit and the detail is amazing. A fantastic story of an unfortunate life.
