The program follows the adventures of eight astronauts on board the international spacecraft Antares. In a story within the story, the lives of the astronauts are being recorded and broadcast back to Earth as part of an ongoing documentary. In spite of a libido-suppressing device worn by each crew member, romantic entanglements develop among some crew members. Further complicating their lives is a mysterious [spoiler redacted] with a secret impact on their mission, which is referred to as [spoiler redacted].
Remember when Lost was good?Â Remember when you were sad that Battlestar was over?Â Remember when you wished that Dollhouse didn’t suck?Â Remember when you yearned for a Sci-Fi show that wasn’t complete crap?Â Defying Gravity is here to rescue you, and it’s on Hulu, so you have zero reason for missing out on it.Â I’ve watched every episode and it keeps getting better with each one, building characters and storylines that are both plausible and suspenseful.Â Let’s hope they don’t decide to throw time travel or deus ex machina in like so many other science fiction series have done.
