I never ate turkey.. wait, no.. i did, but I was a kid. I want to remember the taste so I can be thankful for people that make it less gobble and more mmmm.
Slaughtering animals for food doesn’t bother me at all. It’s not pleasant to watch, but if you want to eat meat, necessary. What does bother me is how most of the animals that become our food are treated. I have trouble w/ the idea that they have no life prior to death. I am no PETA supporter, quite the opposite, but the life of an animal doesn’t have to be torture waiting for a nasty death.
A much shorter piece on an animal’s life, check out This American Life: Pandora’s Box, it’s truly disturbing.
Food Inc was more about the common Americans diet and the disgusting state of the food industry. Goes far beyond animal cruelty. Truly a docu worth watching.
Goddamnit, I chuckled.

Thanks for the rainbows.
Watch Food Inc.
I tried, got boring and deleted it. I’ve seen animals slaughtered before my eyes, didn’t make’em any less tasty.
