Perino: “We did not have a terrorist attack on our country during President Bush’s term”
Someone needs to light this network on fire. Why didn’t he just reach over and smack her? How could they have possibly forgotten 9/11 when that’s all they talk about?

They meant OTHER than that one.
I dunno how I did it, but I sat through the Hannity interview with Palin. Surprisingly my opinion of her and the FAUX Network did not change.
Because Bush was too busy reading a book to school children. So he wasn’t “in office.” Ba Boom CHE
Gotta love when Conservatives go off and say there wasn’t a terrorist attack while Bush was in office. Not the first time I’ve heard this crap and no doubt won’t be the last. You’d think people that call themselves more patriotic then everyone else and piss Nationalism would remember 9/11.
Ah the joys of Wiki:
2002 Muhammad & Malvo (DC snipers) would have tied him, if they had been better shots. And speaking of better shots, in 2007 Seung-Hui Cho took out 32 people before he was stopped.
And while it could be argued that none of these had ties to terrorist organizations, they did perpetrate terrorist acts.
Muhammad & Malvo were muslims, and Cho was an English major. Which obviously makes him far more dangerous with a weapon than an Army psychologist with weapon training.
Proof positive that the Army needs more English Majors!
I was gonna bring up the same point. This is a country that has mass murder happen on a regular basis. Enough that Michael Jackson’s death caused way more media attention for a lot longer than any of the more recent mass murders. We’re shocked for a few minutes then shrug and change the channel…or not.
but this really gets into the “war on definitions” that has been going on for the last century or so.
What exactly is “terror”? Personally I think that for it to be a terrorist attack there needs to be a religious/political reason behind it.
Those snipers were killing just to kill. Psychotic, yes, terrorists, not so sure.
Terror = violent or destructive acts (as bombing) committed by groups in order to intimidate a population or government into granting their demands
According to Merriam Webster the United States of America commits acts of terror all the time. Just look at our war record of undeclared wars etc.
Everything comes down to perspective.
yar. that’s what I was trying to say, but was failing to, lol.
thanks!
You are very welcome Sir.
I messed up on my other reply. hehe
