On January 27, 2010 a Honda advertisement ran on Glenn Beck’s show in the UK. Shortly after, the Stop Beck – UK effort contacted Honda and urged them to stop sponsoring Glenn Beck. Honda advised that they will no longer be purchasing ads on Glenn Beck’s show or Fox News as a whole.
This brings the total number of dropped sponsors to 100.*

So that’s 100 companies that feel uncomfortable with their products being advertised during Glenn Beck’s show. I’ll admit that it’s been a while since I’ve heard anything remotely interesting about him, other then his brand of crazy is still as tasty as ever.

I asked myself, when will Fox catch wise and fire him?
But then I thought:
Fox canceled Firefly, Terminator: TSCC and Dollhouse.
Wisdom is not their strongpoint, and they deserve to die.
FOX doesn’t care if his particular show doesn’t make money; it makes ratings and that means exposure. FOX’s viewers are incredibly loyal; the ad money is still coming in.
that’s right in regards to beck, but honda’s saying that they’re not going to advertise on fox at all.
gonna take a lot of goldUSA commercials to make up for someone as big as honda I think
That’s true. Though, I think FOX will have no problem getting their ad revenue because of the ratings. Still, I’m glad well known companies are pulling out.
Good move by Honda, I like their machines and am glad i can continue to purchase them.
