I despise the whole concept of zero tolerance for the reason Cenk stated. It takes away our ability to judge a situation, in terms of it seriousness, intent and possible effects. We’re not allowed to judge on a case by case basis…why exactly? It takes up too much time? Some administrators (and some teachers) don’t want to be held responsible for their actions, or non action? We’re not really adults anymore; we’re just like the children, waiting to be told what to do. For shame America, for shame.
