‘RapeLay’ video game goes viral amid outrage

Tokyo, Japan (CNN) — The game begins with a teenage girl on a subway platform. She notices you are looking at her and asks, “Can I help you with something?”

That is when you, the player, can choose your method of assault.

A couple points here:

1) They mention games that “other countries would say are pornographic’.  The US had Max Hardcore doing this to real women for years, and doing it legally.

2) The only way to win is to rape.

  1. Hey tiki, read your own links. Max Hardcore is currently serving a 46 month prison sentence. What he was doing wasn’t legal and he didn’t get away with it.

    1. I read the link, he was convicted of mailing the stuff to Florida, where it apparently is illegal to do that he was legally doing in california.

the point still stands though, it’s a bunch of crap that cnn thinks that japan has crazier stuff than we do

  2. I gotta admit, this disturbs me, a lot. Is it any worse than the GTA series though? I’ve never played any of the GTA games (if my kids have, they didn’t tell me), so I’m not sure how bad they really are.

    1. there was considerable violence in GTA, but no rape. in a couple of them you can pick up hookers and fuck em in your car.

and there was the ‘hot coffee’ mod that wasn’t nearly as titillating as it was purported to be.
