“Fuck Off, Amerika” is the title of Eduard Limonow’s 1980 bestseller, written by the Russian proletarian author while in New York exile.
Eduard Limonow was an internationally celebrated young author in the eighties with his trademark brand of cynicism, raw pornography, rough hate and sensitive shudder. He cherished anti-sociality as a holy act and the political-erotic affect as artwork.
“Fuck Off, Amerika”, directed by Frank Castorf with stage design by Jonathan Meese, is based on themes by Eduard Limonow, and is sure to shock.
