How ironic considering Americas history and wars. 😉
143M deaths? Where does that come from? I understand the smarminess, but where does the number come from?
It’s The Onion.
I understand that. What I’m wondering is where they come up with a number like 143M. All in the name of satire, I get it. I could see 1.43M, or maybe even 14.3M, but 143M is just an asinine number with no merit, even as a joke.
back to the original point: It’s The Onion.
I’m pretty sure that 143 million would be low if they’re considering all the life lost in conflicts in which the US was involved.
WWI 37 million
WW2 60 million
Vietnam and korean wars were a little over a million each, so there’s at least 100 million. I’m sure we could find another 50 million or so from these conflicts.
Yeah. America’s that one angry drunk in a night club who’ll whale in on any fight just for the fun of it.
Man, the world would be such an idyllic utopia, if not for those meddling Americans.
