  1. Most americans don’t. You grow up watching football, ironically soccer (football) is the most sport played in schools in the US, due to its simplicity and the fact that anyone can play, all you need is a ball and your feet. Even thought soccer is not that popular in the US yet, the MLS has gained a lot of popularity in the last coupple of years. I think we’ll see a change in the way people see soccer in the US in a few years. You wanna talk about a boring sport? Baseball is a boring sport…. football (soccer) is awesome! (and also I think it has to do with the fact that you need to play the sport to find it interesting) but that’s only my perception. (Great fan of MCS)

    1. baseball is CRAZY boring, but you’ll never see anyone get all worked up about it in the stands, it’s mostly a sit down and eat/drink/ socialize type of game, at least the few stadium games I’ve been to.

          1. But your are forgetting the fighting and rough housing going on between their attempts to score. They do stuff that would get you thrown out of the game in any other sport. Instead you just get thrown into the sin bin.
