The makers of the Oscar-winning movie Hurt Locker have joined a very lucrative ‘pay up or else’ scheme that will target tens of thousands of U.S. BitTorrent users. The massive lawsuit is expected to be filed in the coming days and if ISPs cooperate, suspected downloaders will receive a settlement letter in the weeks to come.
Honestly, I can’t remember if I bought this movie, rented it, netflixed it, or downloaded it via something that might get me a nasty letter in the mail, and this shit is keeping me up at night. I’m pretty sure I viewed it through netflix. Pretty sure…

thanks to the netflix listing, I’m now 99.9% sure that I netflixed this. whew!
I own this and saw it opening day at a local theatre before the whole world had ever heard of it.
Its just like this, I doubt this website got legal permission to display the cover of the DVD in their header. Im calling them and telling them your using it. Do you have permission?
Hey schmuck, it’s more like this. Have you ever heard of Fair Use? The use of the header here is perfectly acceptable and protected under Fair Use. But if you plan on being laughed at by whatever dude gets your “complaint” then do go ahead.
aw man, I don’t need any trouble from them, lol. it’s fair use though since we’re actually talking about that particular item.
It’s ridiculous. I really don’t think this is a good way to make money. If it weren’t for all the torrent dl’s, most would never have heard of the movie prior to the Oscars.
