Technology Review now reports the company's RFID-like, externally-powered implant could stimulate the vagus nerve while doctors play particular tones for those suffering ringing ears, slowly attuning the patients to frequencies other than the one that ails them.
As someone that suffered from extreme tinnitus as a child, I welcome this technology. I foresee a time that it comes back to me, and hopefully by that time this has matured to a point that I can pick one up at the local drug store and just go about my regular life. That ringing is annoying at fuck.
