Doing my normal morning thing today, and pulled up my gmail account, only to find this:
To which I say, wtf?! They’re going to retire a whole gmail interface? what possible reason could they have to do that? The one that I’ve been using is faster then the default one, and actually shows me all my labels (and hides them!) much easier and faster then the default gmail.

I probably won’t even notice. Plus it’s still free and not yahoo/aol/whatever microsoft is. But if you want to go throw some bricks through the Google HQs windows I’m down.
I can’t see any difference. I clicked on “newer version” and it looks exactly the same.
