Insightful, but in Romania Religion is a necessary course in any school. Well, unless a parent is against it, but that would bring ridicule to the children. I think I’ve said this before.
Weird, but I wouldn’t be surprised if school worked that way in the bible belt of America. Especially in small towns.
Here in America all faith schools are private schools. I don’t think we would stand to have tax money spent on such schools.
The problem is that the universe is far more complex and wondrous than we can possibly imagine. It is too big for us to comprehend, so we make something much simpler to explain it all. An all powerful being poofing the stars into existence is far simpler, far easier to comprehend then billions of years of swirling gas out in the vast reaches of space.
The universe is filled with wonderful miracles, the real tragedy is that we replace them with things that are far more mundane.
Thank you Captain Obvious.
Your welcome. Now I’m off to make a cheesy sci-fi series with my friends Prof. Tautology and Dr Non Sequitur.
I would watch that show until FOX cancelled it mid-season.
