Wow is all I can say about a Toronto cop that tells women to “not dress like sluts” in order to avoid being sexually harassed and/or assaulted while speaking at York University. Really dude, I thought this was 2011. Someone please insert something into his mouth, preferably his foot or some other object(s).

well, it’s good advice to not dress like a slut if you don’t want to be spoken to like a slut. nothing like fishnets and a tubetop to class up the place
Not dressing like a slut helps, but it is nuanced. No one deserves to be sexually assaulted, regardless of how they’re dressed and should not be faulted for the assault. Common sense and a sense of dignity should keep you from dressing like a street walker, especially at night. Of course it would also help if we didn’t allow our pre-teens dressing like hookers too.
