Netflix’s The Witcher show may be casting a non-white Ciri, and unfortunately that’s bound to be a controversy that leads to harassment.

Paul Tassi (author of above piece) has a great point, but he’s pointing the finger at the wrong suspect. I firmly believe that if you have a recipe to make a great cake, if you change some of the major components of it, it’s not going to be the same cake at the end of the day. Maybe it’ll still be a good cake, but it won’t be what’s on the box.
